Memoirs

Nov. 5th 2010
On a sombre morning this Friday, just at the time of dawn, my Grandma-like Aunt (the only sibling of my father), Miss Kishwer Sultana, passed away peacefully at our home, leaving our family bereaved on this shocking and sudden great loss. She was like my mother, may Allah bless her soul.. The sorrow is such that not much can be said except prayers for peace to her soul.

Jan 5th 2007:
2007 has come but Mamunji's memories and aroma linger on.. The wounds are afresh as if inflicted right now and would never heal.. His blessed face is still in my eyes and his words keep resonating my mind.. Such saints and sages of ages are born in millennia.. and martyrs are not dead..

Even last night saw him in one of my those eerie dreams.. Mamunji, wherever you are, Blessed Friday, May Allah (SWT) keep you in Tenderest Care, AMeen. If words can say, miss you much.. Wish I were there when you left.. May all the prayers, tears and tributes keep your abode lit with many candles of hope around you, that one day we all will re-unite- in a better place and a better time, AMeen..

July 26th 2006:
